Getting started

Three steps before you can buy or sell anything.

1. Complete your profile Add your name, phone number and a profile picture on your profile. Sellers and agents see this when they deal with you, so it is worth filling in properly.
2. Fund your Coin Bag Buy GenCoin from your wallet via Paystack. GC is what every price on the platform is quoted in.
3. Know the two balances Your Coin Bag is spendable. Money moves to Escrow the moment you commit to an order and is held — by neither side — until the delivery is confirmed.

Buying produce

1. Check what things are worth The price list shows the median of what produce actually sold for on GENLOB — completed sales, not asking prices. Take it as your reference before you negotiate.
2. Browse and make an offer Find produce on Bush Market or Bush Sack. You can accept the listed price or open a negotiation and offer your own.
3. Pay into escrow When the seller accepts, the amount leaves your Coin Bag and is held in escrow. The seller can see it is there, but cannot touch it.
4. Confirm delivery Once the produce arrives and is what you agreed, confirm it. Only then is escrow released to the seller. If it is wrong, raise a dispute instead and an administrator will look at it.

Selling what you grow

1. List it Post your produce on Bush Sack with a quantity, a unit and a price. Clear photographs sell faster than anything you can write.
2. Answer offers Buyers may accept your price or negotiate. You are free to decline; nothing is committed until you accept.
3. Deliver, then get paid Accepting an offer creates the order and moves the buyer's money into escrow. Deliver, the buyer confirms, and it lands in your Coin Bag.
4. Build your standing Completed sales and repaid credit raise your trust score, which moves you up the GenBCube tiers. Higher tiers unlock a larger working-capital line.

Each of these works on the same wallet and the same escrow.

Staying safe

1. Keep every deal on GENLOB Escrow, the dispute process and your trust score only exist for orders placed here. A deal moved to WhatsApp has none of them.
2. Nobody from GENLOB will ask for your password Not support, not an agent, not an administrator. Anyone who does is not from GENLOB.
3. Turn on two-factor authentication It is on your profile, and it is the single most effective thing you can do to keep your wallet yours.
4. Raise a dispute rather than arguing While money is in escrow an administrator can still act on it. Once it is released, your options are much narrower.
